Execution of a Dogs Warrant

Hope you are well.

In response to the community raising concerns about a local dog believed to be a banned breed in the UK, this morning Twickenham Riverside and St Margarets & North Twickenham safer neighbourhood team collaborated alongside the metropolitan police status dog unit to execute a warrant for the possible seizure of a dog under the Dangerous Dog Act 1991. 

After the specialised dog unit assessed the dog, it had been confirmed that it is not a banned breed in the UK and thus other conditions (Acceptable Behaviour Contract) have been put in place, and agreed by the owner.
